MMI INTERMEDIATE CONDITION 1 - COMBATIVE SHOOTING COURSE - CARBINE/PISTOL TACTICS LOCATION: MMI TACTICAL SHOOTING RANGE - WEST ODESSA, TX DURATION: 20 HOURS TOTAL DAY ONE IS 4 HRS CLASSROOM/6 HOURS RANGE DAY TWO IS 10 HOURS RANGE ***THE COURSE IS A PRE-REQUISITE IN ORDER TO BOOK THE MMI CONDITION 2 COMBATIVES SHOOTING COURSE The MMI Condition 1 Combative Course is a step up from the introductory courses by introducing students to realistic Condition 1 scenarios. This course of instruction was developed to provide students with education, training, and advanced skill development with both carbine and pistol. Being able to react quickly and decisively during dynamic lethal force situations while maintaining the ability to operate safely and effectively in high-stress, high-risk situations is what our 2 day Condition 1 carbine/pistol combatives course delivers. Leading edge training in the techniques, procedures, and application of marksmanship fundamentals, surgical accuracy, weapons handling skills, and survivability. You will be taught weapons handling techniques and procedures that are simple to learn, easy to replicate under stress that utilize economy of motion to increase speed and minimize physical effort during manipulation. You will be taught procedures to develop instinctive combat behaviors that are essential for survivability during a lethal force encounter. You will be taught techniques to perceive, recognize and acquire threats and allow you to utilize use of force policies during live fire engagements at close quarters and up to distances of 100-yards. You will learn enhanced techniques to present and acquire threats with the carbine, shoot while moving, perform post engagement procedures, communicate effectively, and demonstrate instinctive combat behaviors.
