MMI INTERMEDIATE LEVEL 2 PISTOL LOCATION: MMI TACTICAL SHOOTING RANGE - WEST ODESSA, TX DURATION: 8 HOURS ***THIS COURSE IS A PRE-REQUISITE TO BOOK CONDITION 1 COMBATIVE SHOOTING COURSE This Level 2 pistol training course builds upon the knowledge learned from the Level 1 course & introduces a more challenging style of shooting techniques while under stress. Students will receive education and training that has specifically been designed to increase individual safety and survivability by building good combat habits on the range. Students will enhance marksmanship skills and individual lethality though realistic combat drills and the application of the fundamentals of combat shooting. By attending this course, students will improve individual safety and survivability by focusing on the critical aspects of lethal force engagements that directly relate to survivability. Students will increase individual skills and lethality with the handgun by understanding and applying improved methods of gripping the weapon, drawing, and presenting it to the target, employ advanced sight management, trigger management and recoil management techniques. Students will receive training that will improve their weapons handling procedures to increase first round speed and accuracy from the holster, improve combat reloading techniques, and help them identify and clear stoppages faster and more efficiently.
